Using the Site
WireAndAmpChart (the “Site”) is a free web utility operated by WireAndAmpChart (“we”, “us”) and available worldwide. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. You may use the calculators and tables for personal, educational and commercial purposes (estimating, training, shop reference), and print the templates and shop sheets for your own use.
Please do not scrape the Site in bulk, republish its tables as your own, interfere with its operation, or tamper with or obscure its advertising.
Accuracy and safety
The calculators apply NEC 2023 tables and rules from the public reproductions cited on each page and are tested against them, but an on-screen measurement depends on the screen's calibration, and the code your jurisdiction adopted (with its amendments) is what applies.
- Check the calibration with a coin or card before relying on a 1:1 measurement, and undo any pinch zoom.
- Electrical work can kill and can start fires. Permits and inspections apply to most new circuits; the authority having jurisdiction (your inspector) decides what complies.
- The installation instructions and listing of the equipment you connect can require more than the code minimum shown here; they govern.
No warranty
The Site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost parts, undersized or oversized equipment, failed inspections, damaged property, lost profits or data, arising from your use of or reliance on the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they apply to you only as far as your local law permits, and nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
Content and trademarks
Published size tables and standard values are facts, and you are free to use them. The Site's design, drawings, templates, text, code and the WireAndAmpChart name and mark belong to us. Standard names (EN ISO 21420, ASTM D6319, EN 13594) and brand and product names (Rawlings, Wilson, FootJoy, Callaway, Rival, Fairtex, Bauer, Reusch, Hestra, Alpinestars and others) belong to their owners and are used only to identify what the data refers to; no endorsement is implied.
Third-party services
The Site uses third parties for hosting and analytics (Cloudflare) and advertising (Google AdSense). Their terms and privacy policies govern their services. Ads are provided by third parties and are not endorsements. See our privacy policy for what this means for your data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept it. Questions: contact@wireandampchart.com.
